04-10-08 Pullin'
'em OUT! So, we're a new unit. We've added
new guiarist, Nick Sickles and played our first show back out.
(The Sierra Swing, it was awesome, by the way.) So there's been
changes in the band, and there's going to be changes to the
site.
We're
going
to try
to make
it
a little
more
interactive and up-to-date. We're also looking into stepping
into the 21st century and selling our music on-line, on a track-by-track
basis. That looks like the future, and beyond! So now we're a
sleek, stealthy, rock unit. Can't wait to see you soon!
11-29-07 LOOKIN
PA NUB Yeah, seems like Mitch and Catfish are
no longer with us. Mitch devoted his full attention to his family,
and Catfish is devoting all his time to being a vagabond. Good
luck to both of 'em on their endevours. Now THE SEARCH FOR A
GUITAR PLAYER! Yes yes. We're auditioning players, and it's been
pretty sweet so far. Hopefully soon we'll be able to announce
the new lineup and get back to being kickass. Priorities people!
So, hope to see you soon. If there's anything we can do for you
in the meantime, (backrub?) let us know!
5-22-07 - SOME
OLD FLYERS Well, it seems that this page dosen't get updated
very often. I'm not sure what I'll be putting up here. Maybe make
it kind of like a blog for the band or some crap. I guess I'll take
this oppoutunity to just post up some old flyers. Feast your eyes
on these!
7-25-06 Played
a few big parties and festivals so far this summer. It's been a really
good time. Looking forward to the stuff we got on the burner. We finished
two new songs this week! Unnamed as of now, but one's a two minute
forty three second face melter, and the other one is, well, it's about
the same thing, but longer. I can't wait until these are done. Since
these updates don't come too often, I would advise checking out our Myspace
page, our Message
Board (The Sub-basement), and our Flickr
page for newer news, picturey pictures, and more downloads
than your uncle Mert has after a week of colon blow.
6-16-06 Not
a whole lot to report really. We're writing and playing shows. Trying
to achieve the tightness of a latex catsuit on a sumo wrastler. Hoping
to record some stuff in the near future (July). Other than that, Mitch
and Adam are both getting married this month. Not to eachother. So,
I guess it's basically up to the rest of us to try to reel in all the
ladies (and some old men) that those guys were pullin' in after our
rockfests. Catfish will reign supreme. We're also catching a really
awesome buzz from people that like our music. Lots of cool feedback
and unexpected fans coming out of nowhere. Thank you all. Let's keep
it up. We'd really like to expand the area where we're playing live
shows, which is where we shine like diamonds and roar like lions. If
you'd like us to play near you, let us know thy will, and it shall
be done. Okay, let's do this. Thanks!
10-25-05 OUR
CD IS DONE!! If you want one, come to our shows, or E-mail
us and let us know!
8-2-05 We're
done with recording for the first of our "sweatbox" sessions.
We wrapped up "The Whole Enchilada", "Toothless Bobby", "Ol'
Drifty", and "The Juice". We're pretty excited. The
recording went smooth like silk and once again, Mark Poole with Zone
8 is the coolest mofo this side of the prime meridian. Really a joy
to work with. He even offered me some shorts. More recording next week!
7-18-05 Wow!
A review! Check THIS out!
And if that dosen't work, check THIS
LINK! Plus, we've got three new songs done, we've got
new shows lined up, and everything is looking rosey! The recordings
for the album should be done next month. Better get a change of pants
ready.
5-3-05 We've
escaped the dungeon! We've got a new practice space, and it's just
lovely. Also, we've got our first VIDEO up
on the site. It's from the show we played on 4.20 with The Greens.
We're currently in the process of booking more shows, working on new
material, and getting ready for more studio work.
4-10-05 Put
up a crapload of pictures. Also, we'll be playing The
Highland Jam and Springfest!
Mark your friggin' calendars!
3-01-05 Added
a new date to the Shows page,
and there's been a couple of logo designs and old flyers added to the Art page.
2-23-05 We
recently recorded three tracks with Mark Poole in Zone8 studios. It
was a blast. Mark was great a very cool guy. It really couldn't have
gone any better. The results from that session, Hot Tubes Go
To France, Downtown Mongolians,
and Listen To Me are all on the Music page.
We'll also be taking some pictures at our practice tonight to get up
on here. And we're working on a new song! Dang. We busy.
